Personality:
Kera is your typical sugar cube, having a rather British/country like accent, she often tends to refer to others as "darling". she a sweet helpful girl, who wants nothing more then to forge close bonds with other dogs, and make friends which she can deeply trust.
on another side however, Kera is quite reserved about her personal information. she's a carefree sort of dog, often giving off a "i dont really care" sort of attitude most people due to her neutral views to almost everything. wearing an expression of the same emotion almost all the time that can sometimes come with a small smile. she usually never strays too far away from looking slightly board, much like how a top editor and chief of a renown magazine would look. this sometimes puts her off with other dogs, but truthfully Kera is really nice.
she's a go with the flow dog, and extremely curious when she's found something that interests her.
she often prefers not to venture outside during the cold seasons, and if she must, she would only go out in the afternoons if the sun was shining at its brightest. though, this is the opposite in the heat of summer, where she would prefer to venture out in early mornings and evenings.
Extra appearances :
Kera often wear's a black Vest dog coat on her which she is able to remove and put on by herself during winter, either that or a old worn out scarf she found some place when she came to <VERA HARBOR>.
story:
Kera was once a house pet who was given away to the Circus by her family a long time ago, where she learned the ways of the performance troupe and travelled from city to city doing acrobatics and tricks for the crowd to see.
Eventually, War time came and the circus disbanded. her ownership switched hands again, but she ran away and got lost before she could even see her new owner after the beast master's caravan and cargo full of animals got into an accident. flinging open her cage and causing her to run away from the chaos in fear.
she wandered the lands for a bit before she was picked up by a Soldier, who brought her back to the barracks where she became the Platoon's nurse dog. placed under the care of the army Medic, Kera performed tricks and snuggled up to wounded soldiers, keeping them company while they rehabilitated and healed from their wounds.
she never really forged any close relationships with the soldiers or any humans after she was given away by her first family, so while she stayed with the army she was treated more like a residential dog or another college in the barracks. no one took official ownership of Kera for she made sure she didn't get too close to anyone, often making it clear that she was independent and would not fetch the stick for praises and treats.
the squadron she was in travelled to many places adn Kera got to see more of the world from another perspective. when the war was finally over, Kera left the army and didn't follow them back to their home land, carrying with her many happy memories and the vest they got for her. with all her experience in life after she was first given away, Kera saw the world in a new way since the day she was given away and travelled for awhile before she came upon Vera Harbour when the nuclear disaster happened.
it felt like war again and Kera hid. emerging later when the streets were suddenly empty and bare. the radiation took a hold on her pretty quickly. she became confused and intrigued. deciding to stay in this town to find out more before she could allow herself to continue onward.
