Need an update on vvVENOM's characters? Here's the place to be. This introductory post will give a brief summary into the temperament of each character, while the subsequent posts will be direct copies of the approved applications of each character.
Zorn | Gray Wolf | 8 years | Scarlet Forest Pack | AVAILABLE Zorn is a straightforward wolf. He doesn't like dogs but he won't actively persecute them. He has a lot of worldly wisdom and, though he's stayed a loner status for a lot of his life, he can slip into the role of lover, warrior, father, or mediator when the time comes.
Zorn will generally roleplay with any character.
Cherry | Coyote | 2 years | Outsider | AVAILABLE Cherry is the trickster of the bunch. She's also an excellent intelligence gatherer and spends most of her time seeing and hearing. She's fast to dish out verbal punishment and will readily take it. However, the coyote is very physically weak, so she relies on her slippery tactics and fast feet to avoid trouble.
Cherry will roleplay with any character. If you wish to rp, please pm me to determine if the two characters know each other. In general, she will know most canines who have been around the city as long as she has... even if they don't know her.
Sadie | Pitt Bull | 4 years | Sikoda Pack | AVAILABLE Sadie was born a pit fighter, but rescued and raised by an extremely loving family. She defends that same family in their underground sanctuary. She tends to mistrust other canines initially, but after said turst is gained, she is quite friendly and eager to help.
Sadie will not roleplay in any of the "Outer Limits" boards.
Killer | Shiba Inu | 5 months | Housepet | AVAILABLE Killer was abandoned only recently and, being a puppy, he's quite naive and innocent. He knows almost nothing about the world and honestly thinks that the war is some sort of strange game the humans are playing. He desperately misses his owners, but he can be quite friendly when he gets over his "attack dog" persona. He named himself. He may become a Sikoda Pack member in the future.
Killer will not roleplay outside of the "Vera Harbor" boards.

* zorn! ! we all know how you love your turmoil there is always a wrong to your right and there will always be a war somewhere to fight
name;; Zorn age;; 7 years species;; Canis lupus, better known as Gray Wolf ranking;; dominant
personality;; Zorn could never be an Omega. From the moment of his birth, he was a leader. He confronts others head on without regard to rank, rarely taking a submissive stance. Though many might (and have) take it as an insult, he doesn't care. Zorn isn't the sort of wolf to back down no matter what the circumstance. From taking down a large kill to confronting an alpha, he faces the challenge without fear. It's gotten him into trouble plenty of times, sure. But it has never cost him his life, and it has always made him stronger.
As for his more internal issues, he has a hard time connecting with other canines. Where most alphas are charismatic, he is simply straightforward. Yes, he's sired several litters of pups in his lifetime, but he's never stayed with them long enough to feel affection towards him. Instead, he has an intense desire for power. Even beneath that bloodlust, there is a secret within his heart that even he doesn't know... He craves the ability to feel, to want to be around other wolves.
For now, he wanders and hunts. For a wolf of his age, he's seen more than his fair share of land. He hasn't found a pack that he's liked enough (or that accepted him) so he's searching. Perhaps if he ran into a female near the city, she would accompany him and try to break through his impenetrable shell.
As for field experience, Zorn can typically identify human traps, and his senses are extremely well-tuned to nature. His powerful limbs allow him to track the faintest of scents back to its source, and the radiation - in his opinion - has aided his nighttime vision. He can move silently and lightly despite his weight. Despite all of this, he's absolutely hopeless in suburban/city locations.
general appearance;; Zorn's a fully grown male wolf, and a big one at that. In the winter, his thick coat makes him seem even more intimidating; in the summer, his fur is sleek against his well-built muscles. His eyes used to be a piercing gold, but since the radiation have shifted to orange, then to red, then to a menacing purple, where it has stayed. For his age, he has a normal amount of scars, the most notable being a large dark gash on the top of his left paw and another along his right flank. fur color;; mottled. mostly dark gray with patches of brown and black. light underbelly. eye color;; violetvvVENOM 19 | PM | OUTSIDER THIS APPLICATION WAS MADE BY SLOW AGAINST THE RAIN! * cherry! ! like a chemical that burns there's nothing like this it's the purest element but it's so volatile, an equation heaven sent, a drug for angels, strangeness and charm
name;; Cherry aka;; Devil's Cherry, Cheeky age;; 2 years gender;; female species;; Canis latrans, better known as Coyote role;; trickster
Like most of her species, Cherry is sneaky and underhanded. She slinks about in the shadows and uses her long legs to bolt if trouble rears its nasty head. Sure she's a coward. She might not admit that aloud but if she knows it then it must be true. Growing up in the wild, she's used to leaning on bigger predators for food.
However, Cherry differs from other Coyotes by her street-smarts. Before the humans had even disappeared, she was wandering the nighttime alleys and accustoming herself to the layout of the Harbor. She made plenty of friends (and enemies) and learned a plethora of information. The city dogs recognize her, as do the wolves in the forest and mountains - though in that case she's not exactly welcome.
Still, she has a special talent to retaining information... and lying. With a chaotic nature, she frequently grins as if she's the holder of all the secrets of the world. That isn't to say she isn't willing to help others... But she also heavily weighs the pros and cons to every action. She's self-serving, so unless she really just wants to be friends with someone, she usually has a secret agenda in mind.
Cherry's willing to be an information runner and considers herself neutral to the packs around Vera Harbor.
eye color;; gold fur color;; very typical coloration of a coyote. mostly tan that grows thick in winter then sheds in the summer. other details;; she's slim but quick, of average size for her age. her ears are massive and perceptive.vvVENOM 19 | PM | OUTSIDERS THIS APPLICATION WAS MADE BY SLOW AGAINST THE RAIN! * sadie! ! how can you say that your truth is better than ours? and you rip it from my hands, and you swear it's all gone just to say that you've won
name;; Sadie age;; 4 years gender;; female species;; American Pitt Bull Terrier role;; protector
Though she'll never talk about it, Sadie was born to the bitch of a prized dog fighter, both purebred Pitt Bulls. From a young age, she was born to find weakness, and to fight without mercy. She was raised with little comforts, with her mother being taken from her as soon as she was weaned, and her handlers having little use for her until she was bigger.
When she reached around one year old, she began fighting, and she won, fueled by bloodlust and an intense desire for affection. She would be given treats when she won the spars. It didn't take long for her excitement to become overwhelming whenever she was set against another dog. Sadie grew incredibly aggressive while learning to hate letting down her keeper.
All it took was an anonymous tip for her world to vanish from under her paws. The ASPCA supposedly saved her, but she was lost amid the frightened dogs in the shelter. She stayed in the kennel for a long time. No one wanted her, a former fighter. No one wanted a dog that could kill.
Except after she turned two. She'd learned the ropes of the shelter by then. Whimper, cower. Maybe you'll get to lick a hand. Maybe a human will look at you. Maybe you'll get fed. But a pair of humans came in and didn't pass her by after reading her tag. In fact, they gushed over her. It made Sadie more happy than she'd been in months: she even wagged her tail.
So they adopted her. It was hard for her to forget her past. In fact, impossible. But instead of using fear to motivate her behavior, she put trust in the humans, who treated her with amazing kindness in return. She grew to love them more than anything else in the world.
When the war came, she was among the first to lead her humans underground, to a place where there was no smell of dog or blood. She took care of them in the early stages, and then began to lead others into underground havens. When she was intercepted, she defended the humans with all her might, tapping into her past aggression only to protect them. Sadie brought down supplies, including blankets, water, food.
She's now a caring dog, with an intense will to save the humans. She hates the dogs aboveground, who remind her of the fighting dogs from her adolescence, being all about killing and winning. She loves being around humans, especially the children (though their parents might be initially wary of her). She's a strong pooch, and loyal to the bone. And, due to the radiation leak, she can now see excellently in the dark; an unfortunate side effect occurs when she fights. She becomes stronger and faster, but tends to lose herself and will sometimes forget who she is.
She's recently heard of a dog named Dakota, who also lives underground. Apparently this "pack" will protect the humans. If it will save the ones she loves, she will do anything.
eye color;; brown fur color;; brindle brown and black notable traits;; improved night vision and strength other details;; She has a view scars here and there, but most have faded over time and are hidden beneath her fur. She also has a docked tail. Her fur appears very dark in low light, but the brown stripes stand out under direct sunlight.vvVENOM 19 | PM | SIKODA PACK THIS APPLICATION WAS MADE BY SLOW AGAINST THE RAIN! * danny "killer"! ! your words in my memory are like music to me i lay down on the cold ground, and i pray that something picks me up and sets me down in your warm arms
house name;; Danny nickname;; Killer (it makes him sound tough) age;; 5 months gender;; male species;; Shiba Inu role;; puppy
Danny had only recently been adopted when his owners abandoned him due to the war. As it is, he has very little worldly experience, and even less survival skills.
Still, he keeps his chin up. He re-named himself quickly after he realized his owners weren't coming back. (They'd been nice enough, of course, but who named a dog "Danny" anyway?) Killer sounds, to him, so much more appealing. Plus, then all the dogs would be afraid of him and not bully him!
Unfortunately, he's horribly naive. He's truly too young to understand the ways of the world, and it will get him into a lot of trouble. For now, he thinks that the humans going into hiding is just some silly game or trick. He has a long road ahead of him and plenty to learn.
As for his personality, he acts much bigger than he really is. He's quick to bark, and often races around bigger dogs in a circle as if it will intimidate them. In truth, he loves company, and he loves talking almost as much. He'll just as willingly bite your ear as talk it off. He's still at the age where he has a ton of energy, and he loves playing outside, wrestling, making-believe, and then napping after all that's done.
He really misses his owners, though. They were nice to him, which is all he could understand. He still hasn't fully accepted what's happened to him, though sometimes he'll go off on his own to whimper and howl for his owners. Killer doesn't like being on his own like this, but, as was stated above, he has a lot of learning to do.
eye color;; dark brown fur color;; caramel notable traits;; he's very short and stocky. his tail hasn't begun to curl much yet. other details;; Killer's spine and tail are tipped with black hairs and his belly and paws have white hairs, but in general, he has a smooth gold coloration. His eyes are quite dark but very open and receptive. His ears seem a bit oversized for his head, but that's okay. Killer also hasn't quite begun to grow the thick, fluffy pelt that comes with age, so when he goes out he tends to get quite cold. He has a black leather collar that he still wears, and the tag reads "DANNY". He pretends not to know about it. vvVENOM 19 | PM | HOUSEPET (potential sikoda) THIS APPLICATION WAS MADE BY SLOW AGAINST THE RAIN! OF CAUTION 2.0. KEEP THE CREDIT ON.

* grimm!! saymy name and every color illuminates, and when we come back, we'll be dressed in black you'll scream my name aloud, and we won't eat and we won't sleep we'll drag bodies from the ground
name;; Grimm also called;; Wrath age;; 3 years gender;; male species;; Chrysocyon brachyurus, better known as Maned Wolf role;; WRATH, THE DEADLY SIN
In the fewest words possible, Grimm is wrath. He might not be angry all the time, but he can snap at the drop of a feather, and his rages are explosive and destructive, with hardly any warning. His temper can not only be harmful to others, but it also is frequently directed inward. Grimm has a nearly impossible time containing his anger, and a nearly impossible time understanding happiness, sadness or grief. This upsets him even more, and his frustration tends to lash out to those around him, even those he feels closest to.
He holds a deep resentment towards the other sins. While he has such an awful time figuring himself out, all he sees in his counterparts is their selfishness. Though Grimm can't express himself and typically doesn't want anything out of his anger, he sees the others as inherently self-centered, and he hates this. The only other sin that he could have a modicum of respect for is pride, and even then it's mostly spurned by his horrible lack of self-respect.
It's true. Grimm can't accept himself. His anger towards his entire being is reflected by rage and hate towards the world. The only one who calms him is his opposite, Mercy. He hates and adores her; hates how she'll never stop forgiving him, loves that does; hates that she won't stand up for herself, loves that she accepts and cares for him. Though he's capable of being very loving and kind around her, she, too, sets him off without warning, and Grimm tends to bully her perhaps more than he bullies any other dog.
After the war began and the zoo set loose, he almost immediately found that the Raiders was the best place for him in the world where dog slaughtered dog. Still, he craves Mercy, desperate to see her, and will often be found missing from the Raiders at night to see her.
eye color;; dark rust notable traits;; he's known as a wolf, but isn't, and looks like a fox, but isn't. the most visible traits are his elegant black mane, which can become erect and make him look even larger, and the tall, long legs with black stockings. these make him quite fast while running, and he's taller than most medium-sized canines. he also has a sleek snow-white tail that streams like a banner when raised. vvVENOM 19 | PM | RAIDERS THIS APPLICATION WAS MADE BY SLOW AGAINST THE RAIN!
