see something you just have to have? we have an easy and organized system which gives each member a history of their purchases.
first you need to create a new thread and title it whatever you wish. then copy and paste the form at the bottom of this post, fill it out, and post it in your purchase thread. every time you purchase something new, simply make a new post.
this allows you to keep track of your purchases, how many orbs you've spent, and even tweak your items such as colored names. if you would like to modify an item, simply post in your purchase thread with what you are modifying. if an admin decides it should cost more orbs, or it is not allowed, they will post saying so.
if you do not use this system of purchase, you will not be allowed to use the boutique.
STAFF. once you complete a transaction, please post in that thread saying so. DO NOT LOCK THE THREAD, members will post further purchases in that same thread. [/ul]
OOC iTEMS.
CUSTOM TiTLE. [15 orbs] this adds words beneath your display name in your miniprofile. it can be lyrics, quotes, etc. and may use UBBC code (bold, underline, italic, etc.) please put the [*code] tag around it so we can copy and paste easily.
GRAPHiCS STUDiO. [175 orbs] a subboard for your very own graphics subboard in the graphics board. please include a title and description.
DiARY SUB-BOARD. [300 orbs] your very own subboard in the diaries board. please include a title and description. [/ul]
COLLARS.
CHOKE-CHAiN. [25 orbs] a simple choke, or curb, chain that hangs around your neck. it is stainless steel so it will never wear and cannot be bitten through, however it does present a choking hazard if someone were to grab the loop and drag you around by it. it also has a habit of leaving a greenish tint on white fur, but this is easily washed away.
PLAiN NYLON COLLAR. [30 orbs] a plain nylon collar in any solid color you desire. it has a plastic clip that won't hold up under extreme pressure, and is all around bland. it is, however, very weather resistant.
RESTRAiNT COLLAR. [35 orbs] a durable nylon collar that fits snugly around one's neck. it is mainly used to keep a dog prisoner. it is fastened with a cinch and has a sturdy ring to fasten a chain or rope to. the prisoner will not be able to turn their head far enough to get the collar off.
REFLECTiVE COLLAR. [40 orbs] at one time reflective gear served dogs well. it lit them up in the gaze of a car's headlights to keep them from being run over. now it is just a fashion statement that looks really neat in the right light. the collar is nylon with reflective nylon on the edges.
DIAMOND-STUDDED COLLAR. [50 orbs] a nylon collar with plastic rhinestone studs. the rhinestones themselves only come in clear, pretending to be diamonds, but the collar comes in any color or pattern. the clip on the collar is still plastic, but is more finely made and will hold up better. the rhinestones are known to look stunning from a distance, but will fall off if you spend too much time scratching that itchy spot on your neck.
LEATHER COLLAR. [75 orbs] one of the premium collars available. the leather is both elegant and functional, withstanding an array of weather due to its special coating, and possessing a metal buckle that ensures a long last. however, it is still leather, and can easily be chewed through where nylon cannot.
SPiKED COLLAR. [100 orbs] a wide nylon collar with attached metal spikes that are 1.5 inches long. it has a metal buckle and is extremely weather resistant and durable. any dog that tries to take a bite out of you will go home with holes in the roof of their mouths. the spikes can be sharpened, by very clever canines, to produce an even more deadly point. though the spiked collar is wide, it does present a weak spot as there are no spikes fastened for two inches on either side of the buckle. ACCESSORiES.
DOG TAGS. [10 orbs] a set of up to three dog ID tags. these aren't the military grade, but instead the typical name tags that one would find on a housepet's collar. a set may include rabies vaccinations tag, a name tag, etc.
BASEBALL CAP. [10 orbs] a simple baseball hat with holes cut for ears to poke through.
BANDAGES. [10 orbs] a pack of 5 bandages that can be used to stop bleeding or simply be worn as a fashion statement.
CHEW BONE. [10 orbs] only of the best quality, right from the shelf of the petstore. this bone can be plastic or real, it's up to you.
TENNiS BALL. [10 orbs] BALL?!
TUG ROPE. [10 orbs] a simple tug rope.
CHAiN. [20 badges] a length of sturdy chain. it can used to restrain someone, or simply as decoration for your den.
ANiMAL HiDE. [25 orbs] an animal hide that is used for various purposes. some use them as bedding, others, as clothing. it is a symbol of power and status to wear the hide of another predator, even more so of another dog.
SMALL COMPANiON [30 orbs] any small animal to accompany your character. examples: mouse, rat, bird, snake, etc. the companion does not require a application, and are NPC's with your existing character.[/ul]
ARMOR.
CARDBOARD ARMOR. [15 orbs] a cheaply made and crappy-looking back-piece of cardboard. it fastens just behind the elbows and around the stomach (which can be quite uncomfortable for males) with a simply twine tie. it is blocky, ungainly, and provides nearly no defense, save for the momentary stupor your enemies will be in when they see you in the contraption.
WOODEN HELMET. [25 orbs] a couple of thin plywood fragments have been crudely lashed together to create this abomination. it was holes for ears and eyes, and extends to cover the muzzle. it lashes under the chin with a bit of rope scavenged from some abandoned houses. it is even more awkward than the cardboard helmet, though it does provide some decent defense... so long as your opponent doesn't actually bite you. if they do... let's just say they won't be the only one with splinters.
WOODEN ARMOR. [30 orbs] a couple of thin plywood fragments have been crudely lashed together to create this abomination. it covers the main part of the back, and extends down over the shoulders but not to the chest. it fastens around the ribcage with rope scavenged from some abandoned houses. this "suit," if you could even call it that, is very rigid and greatly restricts ones movement. it does provide some decent defense... so long as your opponent doesn't actually bite you. if they do... let's just say they won't be the only one with splinters.
SKULL HELMET. [70 orbs] it is just that: a skull used as a helmet. it can be any kind of skull, just so long as it will fit over your head. typically it is fastened with a bit of nylon rope found in an abandoned factory, but some canines prefer to simply let it sit. the bone of the skull is very durable, resisting all weather and never growing brittle with age. it can definitely take a good bite and keep on going.
BONE ARMOR. [100 orbs] this "jacket" of armor is made from the bones of various animals being lashed together with leather and made to order for every dog. it covers the entire back and drops down the shoulders and rear legs to provide even more protection. it is breathable and easy to move around in, though it can create pressure points if worn for too long. the bone itself is very durable, resisting all weather and never growing brittle with age. it can definitely take a good bite and keep on going. [/ul]
